My content ended up on the anti-immigrant, pro-slur side of social media. Am I surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes. We won’t make any progress forward as a country if we don’t recognize all people as being deserving of basic human dignity. For a country to say it’s so great as to set the standard, we’re doing a pathetic job. I usually blank out names but these comments were atrocious, so you know what?
